v     Advisor Dr. Janusz Duzinkiewicz in attendance.

v     Small turnout for meeting – unfortunately Camie did not get email out to students that signed up at New Student Orientation reminding them of first meeting. Will email list of students with enough notice for next meeting. Forty four students signed up at N.O.S. interested in club.

v     Approval of Agenda: Motioned, Sue; Second, Dr. Urschel.

v     Library update: Camie emailed Drs. Dworkin, Pula, Mr. Back, Mr. Turner for updates on library 8-29-05.  As of time of club meeting, no response from any of the parties.

v     Questions were raised on how to proceed with the library project. Possible petitions? Survey?  Tabled until more members can be present.

v     Fundraising: Camie brought in an example of a company that club could sell flower bulbs through for consideration.  Tabled until more members can be present.

v     Project Idea: Possibly doing an “Adopt-a-Trail” through LaPorte County. Tabled until more members can be present.

v     New Business: The need for ideas on projects to be involved in beside library.  Possible focus on academic enrichment for Bio/Chem labs. Tabled until more members can be present.
