  • Advisor Beth Rudnick in attendance.
  • KR Johnson in attendance for mock library presentation.
  • Troy moved to accept agenda, Carol seconded.
  • Camie received final word that the club has an office located in LSF 55. Camie will find out the procedure for keys for officers and let them know.
  • Camie offered the club office as a quiet place to study if members would need to use it over the course of the academic year.  If any member is interested throughout the year, please contact Camie.
  • Camie stated her hopes for the club to be involved in a community project – either the club itself or getting together with another club on campus.  If any members have any ideas, please contact Camie.
  • Members are needed to volunteer their time for New Student Orientation, August 20, 2005.  There will be two sessions of orientation.  The overall time for the day will be 8am – 2pm.  If any member is interested in working the Active Voices Table, please get word to Camie.  All hours are needed.  If you have any time to volunteer contact Camie ASAP.  MEMBERS ARE NEEDED.  This is an important day to offer students new to the University a chance to see what clubs have to offer.
  • Troy will make a sign for New Student Orientation.
  • Members are needed to volunteer their time for Purdue Pride Week.  During Pride week, there is an afternoon for Club Call Out.  Another chance for clubs to show students on campus what they have to offer.  Another important day for Active Voices.  MEMBERS ARE NEEDED.  Club Call-Out will be Wednesday, September 7 from 11am – 2pm on the campus plaza.  Troy’s poster will be used again for the afternoon. All hours are needed. If you have any time to volunteer, contact Camie ASAP.
  • Camie proposed flower bulbs/seedlings as a possible fundraiser for the fall.  More information to come at a later date. 
  • Camie presented the PowerPoint to the club for feedback before final presentation on July 11.  Carol took the club on a tour of the library to point out the physical needs of the library.  Afterward, the club went back to the law reference room to give their feedback on the presentation. 
  • The presentation to Chancellor Dworkin, V.C.’s Pula & Back and Mr. Turner will take place on July 11, 2005 at 1:30pm in LSF 211 (Library Law Reference Room).
  • Camie will email members with more information on New Student Orientation, Pride Week, and meeting times for the fall semester.
