v Advisors Dr. Janusz Duzinkiewicz and Beth Rudnick in attendance.
v Possible projects: letter writing campaigns with other clubs (Social Work, Psychology, The Forum)
o CASA and Harmony House? Changing/getting laws on books for children i.e. child abuse?
o before letters ever written, it needs to be clear what the club would want – need research – possible independent study opportunity?
v Possible anti-war type of display at PNC?
o Camie will contact Sy Moskowitz at VU to see what we can possibly do at our campus.
o Moskowitz - NWI coalition against Iraq War.
o Possibly speak with Administration before hand to make sure everything can happen on our campus and that it will go smoothly.
o Possibly Camie will speak with Dr. Dworkin at open office hours?
v Other possible activities: movie presentation on the new Walmart documentary? (Dawn to check with K.R. to see if it is possible – fair use or copy write infringement) or an open debate with panel or presenters.
v Active Voices PNC project: labs? Do we want to take this on?
v Need to push for membership next semester.
v AV will begin a monthly column in The Voice titled “Didya Know?” Possibly rotating writers each month. Contact Camie with any ideas for the column.
